Abergowrie State School

The aim of our school is to help our students develop high expectations for their learning and life, within a supportive, safe and secure environment that encourages independence, adaptability and resilience. We believe that ‘every lesson counts for every child everyday’ therefore we provide access to and support participation in relevant, quality and inclusive programs that empower both students and staff to achieve excellence.  We encourage students to become independent learners responsible for their own success. We encourage adaptability and resilience, fostering safe and supportive environments in which students can develop confidence by taking risks and ‘having a go’.

We value diversity and inclusiveness and encourage all members of the school community to participate in educational and cultural activities. We value respect and believe in treating all people with respect and dignity.
